If you have a pet or had one in the past, you know already… the answer is yes! You will have a psychic bond with them, and spending time together is enough to create it!
You will read each other’s minds and be completely in sync! Let me show you how this happens.
Have you ever dropped some food and thought “My dog will get it” ? Well… be sure that your dog heard it falling from the other room and also thought “I will get it!”
When you are a little sad a comforting sentence to feel better is nice, but maybe not as much as a warm and soft kitty purring on your lap?
Have you ever voiced your pets’ thoughts? Who knows, maybe using a funny little voice 🙃 And what did they say? Something fitting their character?
All this happens because, with a simple glance at them, we know everything!
We are so good at knowing what a dog wants, but that’s because they are terrible liars! Their tails are always so strikingly honest and they can move their ears as some sort of sign language to communicate, check it out:
But our animals’ feelings can also be hard to read, or at least to understand.
I have one cat, Maji, who loves cuddles but is too shy to say it. She’s on my lap now, as I’m writing these words. This maybe happens for 20 minutes every day, so not a rare event, but somehow I feel blessed whenever she decides to come to sit with me. There is one catch... I know that if I start petting her back, she’ll leave offended. The head is tolerable but to a certain limit. I must respect her feelings 😌. I like to have her on my lap, and she likes to be here, we simply have a deal: look but don’t touch!
For as much as dogs can be honest, they too can have mixed feelings. Maybe the one that worries them the most is when they come back to you to fetch with that look on their faces: “I want you to throw it but I don’t want to give it to you”.
There are so many looks on their faces that say even more than words could. They might bark and meow too, but silence is golden! It’s a trait that is easy to appreciate. Do you ever wake up in the morning and avoid conversation with any being except the ones that don’t have the ability to speak words? 😅 I honestly love the silence. Well… unless you have a puppy… in that case silence is… suspicious! 😑
So? How is everyone feeling today? I made this little series of illustrations to help you decide!
It’s amazing how many emotions pets can bring to our lives. Some people don’t understand how an animal can mean so much to us… but don’t worry, that’s ok, your animal understands 🥰.
I like the dachshund chart. I feel like every day has all of those more than once lol
